About:China Visa

I am a German passport holder. Do I need a visa? And my husband is a Australian passport holder.

I will travel for 2 days to HongKong and one day to Shanghai on a Cruise ship.

Alan, if your total stay in Shanghai is less than 24 hours, then you needn't apply for any type. However, please do confirm this with your cruise company. If they insist that you should apply, then you should apply for a L or G type in advance.
