Hi, You Can stay 72 hours in Guangzhou on the free 72 hour transit. But in order to fullfill the requirements you need to leave from same airport as arrived. Train, bus and ferry (or any other transport) are not allowed. I Think that you need to show return ticket from Guangzhou.
