About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vancouver to Xiamen via Beijing

My flight from Vancouver, Canada requires me to change planes in Beijing en route to Xiamen. Upon arriving Xiamen I would like to stay for 2 days before continuing my travels to Hong Kong. Is this allowed?

Dear, if so, you need to apply for a visa to PRC in advance of your trip.
