About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

Visa for entry to Shanghai query

I am planning a trip to Shanghai from Vancouver this month and have not booked my flights or hotel yet. Can I still apply for a Chinese entry permit without these details?? I am worried incase I book my travel and then get denied the application. Thanks

Laura, if you can get an invitation letter from China, you can do the application without accommodation and flight details. However, if you can't secure this letter, I'm afraid you have to book hotels and round-trip flights before submiting the application.
