German + Chinese question

I'm a German, married to a Chinese woman for 8 years. We're living in Germany right now. How long could I stay with her in PRC (mainland) if we moved back there?

Thanks a lot.

Marco

Hi Marco, if you can get a Q1 type visa and enter China on this paper, you will be able to apply for a temporary residence permit, which allows you to stay for one year or so, and you can renew it in mainland before it expires. It indicates that you can stay for quite a long time. However, you can't work in PRC with the Q type. If you want to work, you need to apply for a Z type entry permit and finally get the temporary residence permit.
