About:China Transit Visa

24 hour stay for USA and Cambodia

We will lay over in Shanghai less than 24 hours on the way to Jeju, can we both (USA and Cambodia) both leave the airport and go into Shanghai city without visas so long as we return and fly the same day?

Yes, you can. You are qualified for 72 hours free transit. And Cambodian guy enjoy 24 hours free transit. However, he/she should apply for a stay permit from the immigration first.
