Apply Hong Kong Visa from Japan

Hello
I am from Bangladesh and living in Japan (student)
For Hong Kong entry permit can I apply directly at the Chinese embassy? Or do I need to go through a travel agency?
And how long it takes?

Hi, you can apply for it from the embassy by yourself or find a travel agency to do it for you.
Or you can post your application to HK immigration department directly.
If your application is processed by the consulate general, it usually takes 4 working days; but if it is processed by HK immigration department, it takes about 4 to 6 weeks.
