You are heading for North Railway Station, right? You may take MTR West Rail Line from Tsim Sha Tsui East Station to Hung Hom Station. Then, change to East Rail Line to Lok Ma Chau Station. thank you so much. That is perfect. And yes I will be going to SZ North to catch the G train to Beijing.
How long before the travel date can I book the train tickets online because I need to get a China visa in the UK and they need proof of travel into mainland China. Does Hong Kong count as mainland China?
Also can you tell me how much time it takes to clear the border crossing at the checkpoint in Lok Ma Chau/Futian Port. I need to leave enough time to catch the train to Beijing and since there are only two trains one at around 7 am and one at about 11 am I need to make the correct booking.

You can book with us right now. Hong Kong is not counted as mainland China. Generally speaking, it takes about 30-60 minutes to cross the Futian Port.
