Wanning or Wenchang

I intend to spend 2 days in Haikou, 3 days in Sanya and the final 2 days I intend to go to Wanning (from Sanya), I wonder if it is advisable or should I go to Wenchang. I need to be at the Meilan airport by 10 am on the last days (after the 2 days). I found the attractions in Wanning a bit of not so compact. If I were to visit Dongshanlin, how do I go? Is there a bus to the attraction? I know it is about 2.5 km from Wanning city, where then should my hotel be? Sorry for the many questions.
