About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hong Kong Entry Enquiry

I am from Iran, right now I am holding X1 Visa which means I have permission to live in China for about 5 years. So, Do I still need entry permit to go to Hong Kong for less than 7 days? If yes, what should I do? If no, what I procedure should I adopt?

Hi, Emad, you still need one to enter HK because entry permits to HK and PRC are separate. First, you should prepare the following materials including your passport and its photocopy, the application form with a recent color photo, financial support proof, transportation arrangements, your residence permit in Mainland PRC and your travel plan to HK. And then deliver your application to HK immigration department to apply.
