What is the maximum days of visa I can get if I have a Chinese invitee?

Hello.
I am planning to stay in China for a while.
My girl friend is going to send me the invitation and sponser me in PRC.
What kind of visa should I apply for getting the maximum number of days to stay there..

Hey, man, you can apply for a tourist L type. The maximum number of days is 30, but as for how many days you can get, it depends on the reasons you provide. The embassy officers have the final say.
