About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Cruise going to HK and to Shanghai

Do I need a single or double entry visa? We are going on a cruise and we stopping in HK for two days and go to Shanghai and stop there for one day.

Dear Stan, you can just apply for a single entry type to Shanghai because Australia passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK.
In fact, if you transit in mainland China for less than 24 hours, you can enjoy direct transit and you don't even need to apply for an entry permit.
