About:Visa Policy of China

Hi, I'm a Malaysia passport holder and stay at Japan. Just want to ask about a visa.

Do I need to apply if wanna go to china through Japan in this February 2016.?

Of course, you need to apply for a Chinese one from Chinese embassy/consulate in Japan before you go.
