About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover in Chengdu

I am traveling from the U.S.A (Los Angeles) with a layover in Chengdu for 9 hours, then on to Thailand. I will probably leave the airport for a few hours to shop. Do I need a Visa?

Thank you.

Dear, you don’t need it and you should apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport if you want to leave the airport.
