Confirmation of overstay

Sorry, a little confused with the idea that your stay duration starts from 00:00 the following day therefore in actual fact you can stay a little longer. For example: I want to go from Bali - SH - London using the flights below:

Bali - Shanghai: Arrive 07:50 (21/12/2015)
Shanghai - London: Depart 11:50 (24/12/2015)

Now this constitutes around a 75 hour stay, but with the qualifications of the visa starting the day after I land, is this acceptable?
