London to Auckland with a 6 and a half hour wait at Baiyun Airport.

I arrive from London at 1800 and depart for Auckland at 0030, but im told the airport closes at midnight (0000). Once I find my departure gate, is it ok for me to wait till after closing? It's only half an hour.
