About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Canada-Taiwan. Taiwan-Hong Kong-Beijing two separate tickets

I'm flying round trip Canada to Taiwan. During the time in Taiwan I'm flying to Beijing via Hong Kong round trip and time in Beijing is less than 72 hours. Does this flight path qualify for the 72 Hour Visa?

Kim, you mean you will fly from Taiwan to Beijing via Hong Kong and back to Taiwan visa HK? If so, I'm afraid you do not qualify for the 72-hour free transit policy.
