About:China Visa Application Requirements

Do I need to get a new passport to get the Visa?

I plan to visit China as a tourist from March 31 through April 13. My US passport expires in November, 2016. Is this within the guidelines?

Vicky, you don’t need to get a new passport to apply for it because it requires your passport with a remaining validity of at least 6 months when you apply for tourist L type to PRC. According to what you mentioned above, your passport is okay.
