About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flight from SFO to Shanghai, then to Kunming and Mandalay, Myanmar.

Could I get the 72 hour allowance for either Shanghai or Kunming, or both? I will be returning 5 weeks later on the reverse route. Could I get the allowance to one city on the way to Mandalay and to the other Chinese city on the way home?
Thank You

Jerry, you can get the 72 hour allowance for either Shanghai or Kunming, but not both cities at one time.
You can get it both times if you transit in one city on the way to Mandalay and in another city on the way home.
