About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

third country visa?

I am flying in from Cambodia to Beijing staying 2 nights and returning to the UK where I am a resident.
Do I need to provide extra documentation to prove my UK residency?
Is that what is meant by third country visa?
Thanks

Are you a UK citizen? If yes, you can just show yout UK passport to prove that you can enter UK after the transit. If you are not UK citizen but a resident, you can show your residence permit for the country.
The third country visa means an entry permit to the country. If it happens that you are the citizen of the third country, then your passport can be used as the entry permit.
