About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Renew passport in Sydney?

Hi,I am holding a Hong Kong passport,it will expire soon. Can I renew it in Sydney? If so,is it better for me to come to the office to renew?

Winnie, you can submit your application to the Chinese consulate in Sydney and then the consulate will transfer your application to HK Immigration Department. The whole process takes around 4 to 8 weeks.

Yes, you need to bring all required documents and submit your application in person.
