About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Shanghai Maglev and Subway Passes

I intend to get the Maglev Single trip and One-Day Pass that costs CNY55, to travel around before taking the maglev train to the airport.
Does the passenger has to take the single maglev trip within 24 hours after using the pass on metro for the first use. Or is it only the one-way metro pass has to be within 24 hours but we can still travel using the maglev single trip ticket to the airport even if it exceeds the 24-hour period? In other words, are there 2 separate passes altogether?

Thanks a lot.

Yes, they are two separate passes altogether. You may use the card to take the maglev train within 7 days after issue. Also, you may use the card to take metro lines within 24 hours after swiping it at the entrance gate for the first time.
