About:Xiling Snow Mountain

Can i make one day trip to xiling from chengdu?

I will take the earliest bus. How can i go back to CD from xiling? Can i catch around 5pm bus.. was that available ? And how long it will take us? Coz at 09.50pm i ll go to xian by train in the same day. Afraid cant catch the train. Need ur advise. Thanks alot.

Well, you can make the round-trip. But as I know, the bus schedules from the mountain to Chengdu are 12:00 (noon) and 14:00. So you are suggested to hire a private car to go back to Chengdu after touring around the mountain. Otherwise, you will have limited time on the mountain.

How much the private car it cost. I need a van for 13people. And how can i found the van rental? Thanks

Generally speaking, the fare is CNY 1,000 to 1,200. You can find several vans nearby the exit of the scenic area. Don't worry. Or to save money, share one with other fellow travelers.

You may take a cable car up to the mountain top to see the Sun and Moon Platform, the Yin Yang Boundary, and the Red Stone Peak. Also, you may have a lot fun in the Skiing Resort.

Sure! The three attractions mentioned above are quite near to one another. So, you may cover them in the morning, while in the afternoon you may go skiing. Have fun!
