About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise departing from Beijing. Will we qualify for the 72-hour free transit?

Our flight arrives one day early into Beijing (2pm) before boarding a cruise ship. We will need to overnight there in order to make the sailing time of 6pm the following day.

Hey, sorry to say that the 72 hour free transit is not applicable to your situation. The policy stipulates it’s only for air passengers who fly to a Chinese city for transit and then fly to a third country or region.
