About:China Transit Visa

i was told here in israel that i must apply for transit visa. is this correct?

i am Israeli citizen traveling to Melbourne Australia with a 5 hour stopover in can.

Hello, buddy, if you just stop over in CAN for 5 hours, then you can use the 24 hour direct transit and you don’t need to apply for an entry permit. But, if you are worried, you are advised to apply for a G type, which is easy to get and requires you to show your onward air tickets.
