About:Beijing Capital Airport Shuttle Bus

Hello, is it safe and feasible to get to capital airport from tiannamen east to terminal 2.

I have a flight at 9 am. So here my questions: what time should I leave? How long does it take to get to airport? How much is the cost? Thanks

Yes, it is safe, but you need to set off early and hurry up. Take subway line 1 from Tiananmen East Station to Jianguomen Station. Next, transfer to subway line 2 to Dongzhimen Station. Then, change to Airport Express line to T2. The duration is about 1 hour, and the fare is CNY 29. Because you need to reach PEK two hours before departure, you are advised to set off at around 5:40.

Thanks jenny, and to confirm. I have to purchase 2 separate fares? One to reach dongzhimen and then another Airport Express line to T2. The duration of 1 hour and the fare is CNY 29 is total or just the last leg? Or can I pay for all trip to terminal 2? Thanks again

You need to purchase 2 separate tickets, one at the starting station to Dongzhimen and the other at Dongzhimen to take Airport Express. The fare CNY 29 is the total fare; a single ride on airport express takes CNY 25.
