About:Beijing - Shanghai High Speed Train

Time for Leaving to Station

Hi All,

I would be travelling from Beijing to Shanghai directly from my office at Oriental Plaza. If the train time is 5pm, what time should I leave office. I would be taking a taxi.

Which station you need to go? If you take the day time high speeds, it should be BJ south and about 30min by taxi if no traffic problem. Usually it would be safer if you get there about 90min in advance for the ticket collection etc, so maybe you need to depart around 3pm.

Hi Stella,

Correct I am heading to Beijing South station to take the bullet train. will leave by 3pm to collect ticket.
