About:China Talent Visa

I have a PhD in Business, am I eligible to apply for R Visa to work in China?

In fact, I am a foreigner and I completed my MBA (Master of Business Administration) and PhD in Business last academic year in Taiwan. I would like to work in PRC, e.g., settling down in PRC (Guangzhou or Yiwu) and starting my own business. I would like to know whether I am eligible for R type, Z type or any type of interesting Chinese entry permits to live and work there. I need some clarification about this issue. Your help would be grateful. Thank you in advance.

It’s very hard to get R type and you should apply for Z type if you want to work in PRC. If you set up your own company in PRC, you need to register the company first and then apply for Z type to enter PRC.
