About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Do I have 30 days to get all the residence permit process done or I have 30 days to apply for it?

I arrived 20 days ago. I handed over all the required documents to my company but they still haven't take me to the Immigration office to apply for the residence period. My question:
Do I have 30 days to get all the residence permit process done or I have 30 days to apply for it?

Besides, what happens if my 30 days expire while I'm waiting for the residence permit?

Hey, Raphael, in practice, if the application for residence permit has been sunmitted to the exit and entry administration of the PSB, then it's okay if one doesn't get the permit within the 30 days. So you’d better ask your company about the details and see if they submit the application materials to the PSB or not. If not, try to hand in the application as soon as possible.
