Can I go to the Pullman Guangzhou Airport hotel without a visa

I am a phillippine passport holder and has a UK resident permit. I have an 18 hour layover in Guangzhou airport and I am thinking of booking a hotel near the airport (which is the Pullman hotel). I'm wondering if I could get to the hotel without a transit G type or do I need one? Like a 24-hour direct transit? Any help would be appreciated :)

Carrel, you don't need the transit G type and you can book a hotel near the airport. The 24-hour direct transit policy can be used. The important thing is you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport to go outside.

Oh I had an error in my question. That should be a 24hour transit. Do I need to apply for a it at the airport?

You don't need to apply for it at the airport. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit when passing through the immigration counter, which is a stamp on your passport.
