19 hour layover - do i need a visa to go from t2 to pullman guangzhou baiyun airport

Hi there, I have a 19 hour layover which is overnight so I booked a room at the pullman guangzhou baiyun airport Hotel but I am not sure if I am covered by the 24hour free transit rule. If I leave the terminal to go to the hotel do I need a visa? Thank you!

Hi, you are completely eligible the 24-hour visa free transit. So you can get out of the airport without a visa and only a stamp or sticker will be offered to you on your passport upon arrival, with which you can go ouot of the airport.
