About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do we need transit visa going to pullman hotel guangzhou

Hello! I am travelling Brisbane-guangzhou-Philippines and we have a 15 hours layover in guangzhou, do we need a visa to get out just to go a nearby hotel? (No sight seeing) we just want airport-hotel-airport. We are looking at pullman hotel which I believe us the closest? thank you!! 😊😊
