Hong Kong Airport Express Query

Hello! We are going to HK this January 2016 and we have our daughter with us who will just turn 2 years old, do we have to pay for her fare? Like, do we need to purchase 3 AE Card (one way)?

And, soon as we'll arrive, we thought of taking the A21 bus to reach our destination, same question applies, do we need to buy 3 octopus cards?

Is it already OK for us to buy in advance the card as we are thinking of using it when going back to the airport. Does this mean, we are going to purchase 2 seperate cards, One way AE card and the Ordinary Octopus Card that would help us roam the city?

Looking forward to hear from someone. Your kind reply is appreciated.

Hey, actually your daughter can take all public transportations - buses, AE train, subways and ferries for free, so you just need to have two cards.

I don't know how long you will stay in HK, but the Octopus Card can also pay the AE train. It means that if you have Octopus, no need to buy AE card any more. It can also be used on MTR, buses, and ferries.

Thank you, Juno! :)

By the way, we'll be staying for 4D3N on January 2016. I appreciate your reply, so clear and precise that our daughter can take all the means of transport - FOR FREE! Woot! :)

Thank you again! :)
