Kunming Airport to Railway Station

Can I take subway from the airport to the railway station as I will board the train to Lijiang at 9.21pm. usually in December, do the train ticket sold out fast?

Well, no direct subway can take you to the Railway Station. So you can take airport shuttle bus line 2, get off at destination directly. Generally, the travel time is 40 to 50 mins.

Although December is not the peak season, you are still suggested to buy train tickets in advance in case the tickets may be sold out. TravelChinaGuide provides online booking service. You can ask help for them. If interested, their contact information is booking@travelchinaguide.com.

Yes, you need to collect the tickets at the railway station. But don't worry. As I know, the staff of ticket service counters can speaking basic English. So it's not difficult for you to communicate with them.
