tour the yellow mountain without a guide

Question

How hard is to find all the beautiful places in the mountain?  Do we have to find a tour guide or can we do it ourselves?  We will arrive by bullet train to Huangshan. So from the train we need to take a taxi to get to the  cable car, and from one of the stops of the cable car we will walk to the hotel. Would it be easy to find all the beautiful places there without a tour guide?

It is easy for you to tour around the mountain by yourselves. Personally, no tour guide is needed. The guiding map is very clear, and has English signs and explanations on it. Have fun!
