About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Hong Kong passport expired. Where to go for renewal and how much? What else do I bring?

Maple, you should apply from the Chinese consulate that has jursidiction over your dwelling. It costs around 40 Australia dollars. The process is very long, around 4 to 8 weeks because your application will be sent to HK.

Required documents are:
1. Your HK ID document;
2. filled application form (ID 843 form);
3. three color photos
4. your original passport photo
