About:Huangshan Mountain

We are thinking to stay on the top of huangshan mountain per night at the 1st of Jan.

However, infomation of one of the hotels there says "Please note guests are required to reach the hotel by cable car. The cable car is available until 16:30 daily, excluding the public holidays."

Anyone knows about the working hours of the cable car at the 1st of January? It's not really a public holiday in China, but who knows ..

Hi, Nat. January 1st is a public holiday in China: the New Year Day. It is Friday. The scenic area and cable cars will be in service then.

There are four ropeways in total. By then, the Yungu Ropeway and Yuping Ropeway are in operation from 7:00 to 17:00. The Taiping Ropeway is in operation from 7:00 to 16:30. The Xihai Valley Sightseeing Ropeway works from 8:00 to 17:00.
