I am thinking of going to Beijing for the 144 hours with no visa

My children have school holiday in October. I am thinking of us flying Prague to Beijing and then Beijing to Kuala Lumpur. Example arrive at 05.20 in Beijing on Saturday 17th October and depart it at 02.15 on Friday 23rd October.

My son is in a wheelchair so we would need to visit the Great Wall of China at the part which has a lift.

Your itinerary:

Prague - Beijing - Kuala Lumpur

Is eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.

Since your son is in a wheelchair, probably the best section of the Great Wall is Badaling. It is the best equipped for a wheelchair users, although it is also the most crowded. It is also possible to make a visit to Mutianyu section, even this section is less wheelchair friendly and your son is supposed to have a light wheelchair. Mutianyu section is less crowded and definitely more spectacular. Anyway, to visit Mutianyu section, I advise you to rely on a guide (an agency) that has a knowledge on how to handle the wheelchairs on particularly sensitive spots.
