About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hi, I am a Vietnamese with Vietnamese passport, however I am a permanent resident here in Australia.

I wanna travel to HK for 8 days. Is this OK?
My mother from Vietnam and holding a Vietnamese passport would like to join me in HK if I'm going. Is this allowed for her? Does she need to apply for a visa?

Thanks.

No, you and your mother both need the entry permit. You can apply for it at the embassy of PRC in Australia or you can contact with HK Immigration Department to handle relevant procedures and obtain the entry permit.
