Chins Visa for US Citizen in Egypt

My husband is US citizen and I am Chinese. We are going back PRC for Christmas. What type of entry permit he needs to apply and how long it usually takes? What documents we need to prepare for him and how much it is going to cost?

Skylar, if he only stays for a short time in PRC, please apply for an L type. If he needs to stay for a long time, apply an Q type for him. No matter what type you are applying for, the processing takes four working days.
To apply for the L type, you need to submit his passport, a copy of the passport's photo page, a completely filled application form, a color passport style photo taken within six months, the original and photocopy of your entry permit or residence permit for Egypt, and an invitation letter from you. To apply for the Q type, in addition to the documents mentioned above, you need to submit the original and photocopy of your marriage certificate.
The cost is US 140 dollars.
