About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

do i require a visa for china if i do not leave the airport?

I am a uk passport holder travelling to see and visit my son in japan for 4 days.

I am travelling staff travel on ticket with virgin atlantic who i am employed bt and leaving on 29 oct then arriving 30 oct and travelling same day to japan. I then have a ticket with all nippon airways to japan from shanghai please answer

Anne, you needn't apply because you are qualifed for the 72 hours free transit.
