It takes around 30 minutes by bus/taxi between the airport and the scenic area. So I guess you need one hour from the airport to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The ticket is valid for three days days. I think you might visit Golden Whip Stream first. It takes 2 to 3 hours. Then you can catch the sight-seeing bus to the entrance of Wulingyuan Scenic Area and take bus no. 1 or 2 to Wulingyuan Bus Station. There you can take bus back to Zhangjiajie. The bus journey is around 45 minutes.
Next morning, you'd better get up as early as you can. Then take the bus from Central Bus Station close to the railway station or you can take a taxi to Wulingyuan Scenic Area. When you arrive, I think you'd better take Bailong Sightseeing Elevator to reach Yuanjiajie. Usually you need to queue up for taking the elevator. Then you spend around 2 hours in Yuanjiajie and use the same route to get back to Zhangjiajie.
Because your time is limited, I think you might be able to visit these two places.
