About:Visa Policy of China

A Nepalese citizen with a Z type ( with resident permit) need to apply for a visa to go to Hongkong?

Does a Nepalese citizen with a working Z type at a University as a Postdoc researcher need an entry permit to go to Hong kong?
If yes, how difficult is it to get a tourist type? I was thinking to do a short vacation of a week in Hong Kong.
Thanks

Yes, you still need it. It's not difficult to apply. You can either go to the HK office in Beijing to submit the application or mail the documents to HK Immigration Department directly.
