we (2 of us) are travelling from Chengdu to Guangzhou via China Southern airlines. What is the most appropriate way to go from airport to Double tree hotel 391 DongFeng Rd. YueXiu District. We have 2 carry on and 2 checkin luggages

You are suggested to take subway line 3, get off at Jiahe Wanggang Station. Then transfer to subway line 2 to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station, Exit D2. It takes around 37 mins. The ticket fare is CNY 7 per person. After that, walk east along Middle Dongfeng Road around 0.6 miles; or take a cab and it costs no more than CNY10.
