About:China Visa Exemption

HK resident holding Philippine Passport

Hi, do I still need to apply for a visa in advance if I want to visit Zhuhai or Shenzen for only a couple of days?

Yes, you need to do so. As you have HK ID card, you can apply from the Office of Commissioner of PRC Foreign Affairs Ministry in HK.
