visit shanghai without visa

I will go to cambodia and stop by shanghai for 13 hours, can I go outside of the airport to visit some places in this city without entry permit, and how about visit other cities besides shanghai?

Sithi, you can go outside of the airport without the entry permit. If you can limit the total layover time to not more than 24 hours, you will be allowed to go to other cities.
