About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover in China

I am planning a trip to Jeju Island from Europe with at the way back a layover in Beijing. I will arrive in Beijing at March 11th 00.10 and will fly back to Vienna at March 14th at 02.30. This is a bit more than 72 hours, but still within the 3 days limit. Is it advisable to apply for a regular visa or should I apply for the 72 Hour free transit?

Koen, to avoid unnecessary troubles, I advise you to apply for a regular visa. You can still try to apply for the 72-hour free transit policy at the airport. If you can't get it, you can enter with this visa.
