About:China Visa Exemption

Kuala Lumpur-Beijing-Houston

Hello, I am traveling with my wife, I am Venezuelan she is Malaysian. I have a 8 hour layover at the first flight to Houston, TX and 11 hours on the return ticket. Do we need transit visa? How about if we want to go to the city for sightseeing?

No, you don't need the entry permits. If you want to go into the city, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport.
