About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour stopover in Beijing

Hi, I am travelling from Bangkok to Beijing I have an 8 hour stop over in Beijing and then onwards to UK. I would like to visit the Great Wall during my 8 hour stop over and not sure which visa I would require, 24/72 hours and can I get these in Beijing airport or do I need to apply before I leave the UK, thanks x

Simmone, you can either use the 24-hour or 72-hour direct transit policy. The service is available at the airport. You don't need to apply before you leave the UK.
