Buying ticket of Forbidden City in advance

Hi, is it possible to buy tickets in advance from the ticket office. E.g. is it possible to buy a ticket on 30 September for entrance on 2 October?

No, you cannot buy the ticket in advance on the spot, but you can make a reservation online.
